She later completed her PhD in Music from the University of North Texas in 2019. During her doctoral studies, she won the concerto competition and performed Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the UNT Concert Symphony Orchestra at the Murchison Performing Arts Center.
Her doctoral dissertation, Franz Liszt as Transcriber and Editor: A Historical Overview and Analytical Study of His Three Versions of Franz Schubert’s Wanderer Fantasy, D.760, delves into Liszt’s rare editions. She continues to explore this project in her research and is preparing to record a new album based on this work, in collaboration with Timothy Jackson, a distinguished research professor at UNT.
